This continuing education course will introduce you to Oncology massage. We have included information on the five types of cancer and a look at how we as massage therapists can play a part in skin cancer prevention. The course includes benefits, contraindications and a client intake form. We have included an equipment and supplies list designed to create additional comfort for your oncology client. Upon completion of this course you will have a working knowledge of cancer, will be comfortable accepting and treating oncology clients in a safe and effective manner and will be able to articulate to your client the benefits of Oncology Massage and why Oncology Massage will not spread their cancer or affect their pre, post or ongoing cancer treatments.
