These 200 million year old salt layers are high in minerals and trace elements, providing the highest quality of natural salt. When the rock salt crystal heats up, it emits negative ions. These ions cleanse the air by removing dust, pollen, dander and cigarette smoke. They also offset the harmful radiation produced by computer monitors, TVs, and other electrical equipment.
Each crystal contains a hardwood base with a 110 v light fixture, switch and bulb. The light bulb glows beautifully from within the crystal. Bulbs are standard bulbs.
